Farnborough is a highly valued community secondary school, located in Clifton, Nottingham. The school is based in a specially constructed building, which completed prior to opening in September 2014.

The school was noted as ‘inadequate’ by the most recent Ofsted inspection in 2017, however, rapid improvements have been made since.

Farnborough saw their best ever GCSE results in the school’s history in 2018 and are focused on building on these impressive results further. The academy has an atmosphere focused on excellence and are determined that every child will have the chance to achieve their full potential.

Every year shows, exhibitions, performances and plays take place at The Farnborough Academy.

Facilities at the school include a lecture theatre, dedicated gym and extensive grounds.
