St Giles’ TikTok Dance Craze Competition

St Giles staff have been featured in a news post after taking part in the dance competition to mark the end of Children’s Mental Health Week.

Staff at St Giles School, the only special needs primary school in the city, were divided into seven teams and asked to create their own versions of the TikTok dance to ‘Friday’ by Mufasa and Hyperman.

Parents and carers of pupils at the school have been asked to vote for their favourite team through the schools social media.

The Chaddesden, Derby-based school has been praised for how they have supported pupils, staff and families during the pandemic. With Mental Health First Aid training, playing an important role in supporting children and adults involved with the school.
