Spencer Academies Trust celebrate GCSE Results

Hot on the heels of a remarkable set of A-level results on Tuesday, Spencer Academies Trust students and staff are celebrating once again with a fantastic sweep of GCSE results today across all eight of their secondary academies.

Over 1800 Spencer students will now be able to successfully transition to a Spencer academy sixth form or further education destination.

Paul West, CEO, said, ‘I’m delighted for every one of our Year 11 students celebrating their GCSE successes today. As with our A-level results on Tuesday, I want to thank the staff at all of our academies for the exceptional hard work that went into securing these grades for our young people’.

Kelsey Rowley, a student at Heanor Gate Science College, was delighted with her results, ‘I am extremely happy, I feel like I got the results I deserved. We should all be proud. The teachers have really supported us over the past 18 months, they’ve kept us motivated and helped us all succeed.’
