Download Jet Setup.exe
1. Extract the zip folder and click on ‘Jet Setup.exe’.
2. Leave the default options as below and click ‘Next’.
3. Leave the default options as below and click ‘Next’.
4. Leave the default options as below and click ‘Next’.
5. Leave the default options as below and click ‘Next’.
6. Check the highlighted box below and click ‘Next’.
7. Leave the default options as below and click ‘Install’.
8. Select ‘Finish’.
9. Leave the default options as below and click ‘OK’.
10. After installing, either click on the desktop icon…
…or if this is not there, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\JetReports and click on Jet Reports.exe (also right click and add a shortcut to your desktop or drive).
Activating Jet Reports
1. Open Excel and select the ‘Jet’ tab that will now be available. Then click ‘Activate Jet Reports’.
2. Click ‘Activate Jet online’.
3. Enter a valid activation code and select ‘Activate’.
Importing the data source
1. Under the ‘Jet’ tab in Excel, click ‘Data Source Settings’ and then select ‘I have a Jet Data Source Settings File…’. Then click ‘OK’.
2. Locate the JET data source SAT.xml file and check the highlighted boxes below. Then click ‘Import’.
3. Ensure the import completes successfully and Jet Reports is now ready to use.
